The DeWees Investment Consulting Group of Wells Fargo Advisors was founded by Don DeWees, Sr. Our investment and planning philosophy is based on the experience and practice Don developed over his 60-year career as a financial advisor.

Don began his career in the investment industry in 1962 with Francis I. duPont. He later opened and managed the Wilmington office of Butcher & Singer in 1969. He never left that firm, but many mergers and acquisitions later, his career concluded at Wells Fargo Advisors in Greenville, DE after decades of serving his beloved clients. As a perennial bull, Don was driven by his calling to help others, for which he was recognized with many business acumen awards throughout his career. He was mentor, father and friend to each member of his team, the DeWees Investment Consulting Group.
